Almost exactly a year later, in April 2009, this picture was taken by Errin Andrus in our first family pictures… we totally did not mean to do this, but I thought it was so funny how almost the same picture was taken by two different photographers almost exactly a year apart… but it shows how much our lives have changed in this year {now with our baby in the picture and all}. I mean, what are the chances of that?!

I can’t believe how much our lives have changed this year!! If you would have told us the day of our engagements that I would be finding out I was pregnant next month we would have thought you were crazy!! I specifically remember Jimmy asking us “so will you have kids soon” and we quickly replied “oh heavens no! We’re going to wait at least 5 years or so…” {so much for planning, eh?} last year we were just a couple kids, in love, taking the next step in our relationship and today we are even more in love, with an entire family of our own! We’re still the same Brady and Cass, but our life is completely different than the plans we were making this time last year. And you know what? God’s plan is so much better than ours could have ever been!!
So the lesson I learned here is stop worrying about tomorrow, or next month, or next year… because chances are they’re going to look completely different than they’re looking like today. We have no idea what God has instore for us tomorrow… but isn’t that the fun part?
