{watching the birdies outside, she was signing “birdie” and thought she was pretty tricky!}

:: She will basically try to say anything you tell her, and try to sign anything you show her.

:: “what does the lion say?” she says “raw!!” and puts her hand up like a claw.

:: “what does the birdie say?” she signs bird and says “beet, teet!” (tweet, tweet)

:: She is OBSESSED with lifting up my shirt to “pat pat” the baby in my belly. (lovely!)

:: At my midwife’s appointment on Monday, Janae was doing the doppler on my belly to hear the baby’s heart, Harlo did NOT like that. She was saying “no! no!” then we got to hear the baby’s heart and she thought it was pretty neat, she then wanted to hear it on her belly! Of course, we didn’t hear too much, but Janae humored her and let her put it on her belly and she was very pleased. 🙂
:: She says “apple” clear as day!

:: She’ll sign “apple” and say “apple, a-a-a” (thanks maddox!)

:: She’ll also sign “b” and say “baby, b-b-b” (This is what Maddox learns at pre-school and then teaches us:)

:: She’s been going on this kick where she sleeps in until 11:00 am.. It’s madness! It must be a growth spurt of some sort, because she goes to bed at 8:15 every night. She’s also been sleeping through the night.. again.
:: She is completely weaned from bottles (she actually has been since the 2nd week of January, but I keep forgetting to put it down for my record)
