Last week while we were driving around town, Harlo and I said the same word at the exact same time.
“Jinx! You owe me a swig!” I said – of course the girls wanted to know all about this!
For the rest of the day, they tried to say the same word at the same time so they could both say “Jinx!” The thing about Jinx though, is that it works better when it’s spontaneous. 😉
The other day, Stella came into my office while Grae was asleep and whispered a request to me.  As she headed out the door, we both blew an air kiss to each other at the same exact time.  I saw her face light up, “jinx!” She excitedly whispered, “you owe me a lemonade.” Followed by an excited giggle as she skipped back down the hall.

These moments – these tiny, totally insignificant moments  – are what make my life as a mother an absolute delight.
I am constantly in awe at how much I enjoy my children. Â How I delight in even the smallest things, like them learning when to properly jinx! Â Quite often (daily) I get told how much I neeeeeed a boy, and I’m sure boys are so wonderful and if I ever have a son, I will be saying the same thing to mothers with girls… BUT, here in my house full of little girl magic, the giggles, the rope jumping, the barbies, the dress ups, the fake names, the makeup, the sweet and tender hearts… I sure feel like I have it all. Â I don’t feel like I stand in need of a single thing.
I hope they know that.

Such cute little ladies! People in my area think I’m crazy to even have three children (yay to three girls!) but I still get asked a lot if we’re done trying for a boy, or if we’ll try one more time. While I would have loved a boy before, now I think a boy would just wreck our fun all-girl vibe. My honey and I both grew up with only brothers, so all the drama does overwhelm us sometimes, but I would never trade it!

How adorable! I remember being obsessed with Jinx as a kid! Mary-Kate and Ashley said it a lot in their movie Passport to Paris. My sis and I were so obsessed with them, and did it because it was “cool” to do! lol. Girls are just perfect. I grew up with one little sister. We wanted a little brother, but looking back I’m glad it was the two of us. I personally feel like I was meant to have boys or at least the one I have now….Though my dad would say otherwise. He wants a granddaughter to spoil so badly! Not to say he doesn’t adore his new grandson, but I would love to try for a girl next. To get out my desire to buy frilly girl things, I have been picking up clothes for our friend who is having a girl in June.
Your littlest girls eyes are so beautiful! There is nothing like sweet little girls. My Ben’s eyes are blue as of now and I’m praying they stay that way! They look so great with blue outfits.

You know how I feel about “needing” a boy. ;). There is just something about a house full of “dramatic” (you also know how I feel about this….you will have one form of drama with either gender, boy or girl) girls that melts momma hearts.
